After-Work Drinks in the Financial District

Cocktails, baijiu and wine at 6 Platt St — with a kitchen that stays open late.

The bar

A proper bar, steps from Wall Street

Golden Wuish sits on Platt Street in the heart of the Financial District, a short walk from the Wall St and Broad St subway stations. The bar pours cocktails, baijiu and a wine list built to stand up to bold Chinese flavors — and unlike most FiDi bars, there is a full kitchen behind it.

Pairings

What to eat with your drink

The menu is made for sharing after work: black truffle soup dumplings, wontons in chili oil, golden buttered garlic fries and crispy salt & pepper silver fish all pair naturally with a cold drink. If the table is hungry, the flaming Peking duck — carved tableside — turns a quick drink into dinner.
